Over the next five days, we will set aside time to pray together as a new school year begins. Before routines, homework, practices, and busy schedules take over, let's pause and invite God to lead every step.

1 Timothy 4:12 — "Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."

Today, we pray for every student... from the first day of preschool to the last first day of college, and everywhere in between.

As God's Word reminds us, no one is too young to impact His Kingdom. Lord, protect our students, grant them wisdom as they learn, surround them with life-giving friendships, and help them grow in confidence and character. May they know You, walk in Your peace, and be a light wherever they go.

James 1:5 — "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."

Today, we pray for the people who faithfully pour into students every single day.

We lift up teachers, administrators, faculty, support staff, coaches, school board members, and every person serving our schools this year.

Lord, Your Word promises to generously give wisdom to those who ask. We pray You would guide every decision they make, strengthen them through long days, and fill them with patience, compassion, joy, and endurance as they care for the students and families You've placed in their lives. May they know they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by You.

Joel 2:28–29 — "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh..."

Today, we pray for revival in our schools.

Lord, pour out Your Spirit on this generation. Let Your presence fill classrooms, hallways, campuses, and hearts. Draw students and educators closer to You, awaken faith, restore hope, and remind every person that they are deeply known and loved by You.

We believe lives will be changed for Your glory this school year.

Psalm 127:1 — "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain."

Today, we pray for every family as they settle into a new rhythm.

We pray for parents navigating busy schedules, grandparents stepping in to help, guardians doing their best, homeschool families adjusting to routines, and everyone carrying the responsibilities of a new school year.

Lord, be the foundation of every home. Bring peace where there is stress, grace where there is exhaustion, and joy in the midst of everyday moments. Help families stay connected to one another and rooted in You as they walk through this season together.

Matthew 5:14–16 — "You are the light of the world... let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."

As we conclude Back to School Prayer Week, today we pray for our communities.

Lord, protect our neighborhoods, our schools, and every family represented within them. Raise up people who lead with integrity, love their neighbors well, and point others toward You.

May we be a light in our schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods. May this school year be marked by unity, compassion, hope, and lives changed by the Gospel. We trust You with the year ahead and believe You are already at work.
